One of the best aspects of Elden Ring is its boss fights and the attention to their themes. Yes, some bosses are used again later to fill out the game’s massive open world. But that doesn’t take away excitement from every boss' encounter, especially if it's in the endgame where players are fully geared and can feel that nostalgic feeling of fighting the same boss that was, at a certain point, excruciating to deal with.
Among Elden Ring's endgame areas filled with re-used bosses, Mountaintops of the Giants are a great example. Around the corners of these mountains, nestle 26 bosses packed with Runes and drops.

Forbidden Lands Bosses In Elden Ring
There are only two bosses in the Forbidden Lands since it’s a tiny map that connects Leyndell to the Mountaintops of the Giants. Players have to go through the Forbidden Lands the first time they want to reach the snow Mountains.
Night’s Cavalry
Night’s Cavalries are scattered across Elden Ring. Nine of them, to be specific. They only appear at night and this boss is no different. Players can find it wandering at nighttime on the road leading to the Grand Lift of Rold.
By hunting this Cavalry, players will achieve its 
Ash of War: Phantom Slash and 36,000 Runes.
Black Blade Kindred
Black Blade Kindred is an optional boss found in the open world, guarding the path to the Grand Lift of Rold. Upon defeating this Black Blade Kindred, players will get 60,000 Runes alongside its weapons, 
Gargoyle's Black Axe and Gargoyle’s Black Blades.
East Mountaintops Of The Giants Bosses In Elden Ring
The east Mountaintops of the Giants is the main area players should reach to continue Elden Ring’s main quest. This area contains 12 Bosses, including the Fire Giant.
Ancient Hero Of Zamor
One of the Ancient Hero of Zamor is the Giant-conquering Hero’s Grave’s boss in Elden Ring. It’s an optional boss that drops the 
Zamor Curved Sword , the 
Zamor Set , and 83,000 Runes when defeated.
Ulcerated Tree Spirit
Many bosses of Elden Ring are used again in different locations. This Ulcerated Tree Spirit can be found in the Giant’s Mountaintop Catacombs. Killing this Tree Spirit rewards players with the 
Glovewort Picker's Bell Bearing [2] (2), 
Golden Seed , and 48,000 Runes.
Roundtable Knight Vyke
Vyke can be encountered twice, the first time in Liurnia of the Lakes, and the second time as an Evergaol boss. In the mountaintop of the Giants, Vyke is in the Lord Contender's Evergaol, northeast Whiteridge Road Site of Lost Grace. Slaying the boss awards players with his 
Vyke's Dragonbolt , 
Fingerprint Set , and 78,000 Runes.
Godskin Apostle And Godskin Noble
While the real boss is a Spirit-caller Snail found in the Spiritcaller Cave, this time the Snail doesn’t appear until both Godskins are defeated.

So the real bosses of this encounter are the Godskins. Beating the three bosses grants players 70,000 Runes, 
Godskin Swaddling Cloth , and 
Black Flame Ritual Incantation.
Borealis, The Freezing Fog
At the far east of the Mountaintop of the Giant, east of the Freezing Lake Site of Lost Grace, Borealis, The Freezing Fog, resides. Players can overcome the optional dragon boss to obtain its Dragon Heart and 100,000 Runes.
Erdtree Avatar
Erdtree Avatars guard the Minor Erdtrees in Elden Ring. In the Mountaintop of the Giants, the Minor Erdtree is located northeast of the Ancient Snow Valley Ruins bonfire. After destroying the Erdtree Avatar, players will get the 
Cerulean Crystal Tear , 
Crimson Bubbletear , and 70,000 Runes.
Tibia Mariner
In the mountaintop of the Giants, this Tibia Mariner is south of Castle Sol Main Gate. Just like all other Tibia Mariner, this one also drops a Deathroot when defeated. Additionally, players will acquire 
Helphen's Steeple and 4,000 Runes.
Death Rite Bird
Unlike most Death Rite Birds, this boss doesn’t only appear at nighttime. Players can find it at any time during their gameplay. The boss is available west of Castle Sol Main Gate, dropping 77,000 Runes and the 
Death Ritual Spear when slain.
Commander Niall
Now inside Castle Sol, Commander Niall is the only boss there. It is not an easy fight, but when Commander Niall is conquered, players will plunder 90,000 Runes and Veteran's Prosthesis.
Fire Giant
Unlike all the bosses in the Mountaintop of the Giants, the Fire Giant is a main boss in Elden Ring.

Players can find this boss east of the Foot of the Forge Site of Lost Grace and must slay it to reach the Forge of the Giants. Players will also get the 
Remembrance of the Fire Giant and 180,000 Runes.
Crumbling Farum Azula Bosses In Elden Ring
Crumbling Farum Azula is only available after defeating the Fire Giant. There are four bosses available in this area, two of them are necessary for the story's progression.
Godskins Duo
Reaching this far, players won’t be meeting Godskins Duo for the first time. The bosses are inside the Dragon Temple and beating them awards players with 
Smithing-Stone Miner's Bell Bearing [4] , 
Ash of War: Black Flame Tornado , and 170,000 Runes.
Draconic Tree Sentinel
The Draconic Tree Sentinel guards 
Maliketh, the Black Blade at the entrance to his arena. If the Draconic Tree Sentinel falls, players will receive the 
Malformed Dragon Set and 28,000 Runes.
Maliketh, The Black Blade
Located south of Beside The Great Bridge Bonfire, players will first encounter Maliketh disguised as a Beast Clergyman. Later, he reveals his true self and elevates the boss fight’s difficulty. Upon winning, players will get 220,000 Runes and 
Remembrance of the Black Blade .
Dragonlord Placidusax
Dragonlord Placidusax is an optional hidden boss in Elden Ring. To reach it, players must move southwest from Beside The Bridge bonfire until they reach a cliff. There are multiple platforms hanging in the air, flying. Killing the ancient Dragonlord grants players 280,000 Runes and Remembrance of the Dragonlord.
Consecrated Snowfield Bosses In Elden Ring
Consecrated Snowfield is a hidden endgame area in Elden Ring. The Snowfield is west of the Mountaintop of the Giants and contains eight bosses, in total.
Stray Mimic Tear
The Stray Mimic Tear is the first boss players encounter when entering the Consecrated Snowfield. It can be a little tricky to find the boss since it's hidden below the Hidden Path, in the Secret Underground Catacombs. After finding and beating the boss, players will be rewarded with 
Blackflame Monk Amon Ashes and 50,000 Runes.
Astel, Stars Of Darkness
Astel, Stars of Darkness is a copy of the Legend boss, Astel, Naturalborn of the Void. This boss is completely optional, hiding inside Yelough Anix Tunnel. Once vanquished, players will get 120,000 Runes and 
Meteorite of Astel .
Death Rite Bird
Another Death Rite Bird in the mountaintop of the Giants. This time, it’s in the hidden area of Consecrated Snowfield. The enemy appears at night in the far north in the frozen river under the Apostate Derelict Site of Lost Grace. Upon winning, players will be awarded 220,000 Runes and 
Explosive Ghostflame .
Putrid Avatar
Putrid Avatars are like the Erdtree Avatars, mostly found next to a Minor Erdtree, guarding it. The difference between the two bosses is their movesets, as the Putrid Avatar mechanics involve many attacks that inflict Scarlet Rot build-up.

This boss’ area is only accessible through a Waygate found north of the Consecrated Snowfield Catacombs. When defeated, players will get 160,000 Runes, 
Ruptured Crystal Tear , and 
Thorny Cracked Tear .
Putrid Grave Warden Duelist
Putrid Grave Warden Duelist is the boss of the Consecrated Snowfield Catacombs in Elden Ring. Just like the Putrid Erdtree, the Putrid Duelist also inflicts Scarlet Rott with his attacks. Once the Grave Warden loses his duel, players will be rewarded with 80,000 Runes and 
Rotten Gravekeeper Cloak .
Misbegotten Crusader
The Misbegotten Crusader wields in their hands one of the rarest weapons in Elden Ring. The Golden Order Greatsword is said to be forged by Radagon himself. The Misbegotten Crusader, however, is the Cave of Forlorn's boss, at the end of the frozen river in the Consecrated Snowfield. When killed, the boss will drop 93,000 Runes and the legendary armament, 
Golden Order Greatsword .
Great Wyrm Theodorix
Right next to the Cave of Forlorn, Great Wyrm Theodorix is found at the end of the frozen river. Upon slaying the Great Wyrm, players will obtain three Dragon Hearts and 180,000 Runes.
Two Night’s Cavalries
The Two Night’s Cavalries can be seen at night in the middle of the Consecrated Snowfield, guarding a carriage. When overcoming both riders, players will acquire 
Night's Cavalry Set , 
Somber Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone , and 84,000 Runes.
The Haligtree Bosses In Elden Ring
The Haligtree is a hidden area found after solving a puzzle inside another hidden area. There are only two bosses in the hidden area, but they're not just any bosses. One of them is Malenia, Blade of Miquella, one of the hardest bosses in Elden Ring.
Loretta, Knight Of The Haligtree
To reach Malenia, defeating Loretta is necessary since she guards the path that leads to Malenia's boss's fight. When she falls, she drops 200,000 Runes, 
Loretta's Mastery , and 
Loretta's War Sickle .
Malenia, Blade Of Miquella
Although Malenia is one of many Demigods in Elden Ring, she is an optional boss. She Resides in Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree. Slaying the Demigod awards players with 480,000 Runes, 
Malenia's Great Rune , and 
Remembrance of the Rot Goddess .
