I October 4, 1983 THE EVANSVILLE PRESS deaths WILLIAM C. PFETTSCHER, 99, died at 6:05 yesterday evening at Pine Haven Nursing Home. Mr. Pfettscher, formerly of Mount Vernon, was retired from Mead Johnson after 34 years of service. He was also a former Posey County farmer.

Surviving are sons, William of Lake Panasoffkee, Virgil of Evansville, and Paul of Cutler, 11 grandchildren and 11 great -grandchildren. 464, played football, basketball and baseball for Central High School and Evansville College in the 1920s and '30s. He was a member of Phi Epsilon Phi and earned his bachelor degree in 1932 from Evansville College. He worked as maintenance meter repairman for the City Waterworks Department from 1951 until 1953, and worked as sanitarian and health educator for the Health Department from 1953 until 1973. Mr. Dossett was a major in the Army, serving in Korea and Japan.
